It started with James.

I wanted an app for my dog that I would actually want to use.

Something where I could keep his important information, remember his little habits, keep track of his care, plan things and just have a place for all the bits of life that come with having him around.

A little digital home

KIN started as something I wanted for James. Then I realised that the things I was trying to keep organised — the routines, the documents, the memories, the little things you don't want to forget — probably aren't unique to us.

So I'm building KIN as a little digital home for all of it.

It's made for James first. But I hope that, somewhere along the way, it becomes useful for your companion too — whether they have four paws, whiskers or a personality that somehow takes up the whole house.

Thoroughly supervised

It's an app built by a developer. Thoroughly supervised by a pug... a developug. 🐾

Because every animal has their own little world. KIN is just a place to keep it.
